Week 9 monitoring round – Gold3 and Green14
Each season a maturity monitoring round is performed around week 9 to understand the likely timing and Taste of Gold3 and Green14. This monitoring round targets up to 30% of Gold3 and potentially all Green14 registered maturity areas. Only orchards that have completed the Eurofins BOP orchard set-up process will be available for selection for this Pool funded monitoring round. The monitoring round commences on Monday 26 February with the final samples collected on Sunday 4 March. Clearance maturity areas registered against orchards that have supplied the requested contact and health and safety information before 12pm Friday 23 February will be included in the selection process.
Eurofins BOP will select the maturity areas and create samples on Friday 23 or Saturday 24 February allowing packhouses and growers to view the MAs selected on the Eurofins BOP website following this. Eurofins will send a text message to the primary contact recorded against the orchard. For the week 9 samples requested, Eurofins will send a text message to the primary contact recorded against the orchard the day before the sample is scheduled to be collected. The samples will be requested and processed as clearance samples.
